THE 3 GREAT BLESSINGS OF THE ALMIGHTY

We begin by praising Allah, sending blessings and salutations upon Muhammad. We ask the Almighty to bless him and his entire household; those who supported him from day one. And we ask Allah to bless all his companions as well as every single one of us and our offspring to come up to the day of qiyāmah.

My dear brothers and sisters in Islām, Assalamu Alaykum Warahmathullahi Wabarakatuhu.

Almighty Allah continues to bestow upon us His immense blessings and bounties at all times and in all conditions. There is no doubt Allah, the Most Exalted, is the Possessor of great bounty and bestower of countless favors. He is vast in His generosity and encompasses mankind with His kindness. His blessings can be seen all around us and in immeasurable numbers. If we were to initiate counting them one by one, we will never be able to count all of them.

"And He gave you from all you asked of Him. And if you should count the favor of Allah, you could not enumerate them. Indeed, mankind is [generally] most unjust and ungrateful"

There are so many blessings and glories of the Almighty, which we do not realize we have been bestowed with; but they are indispensable to human survival and are of paramount importance, without which the humankind would not be able to sustain and endure a normal life.

My Beloved brothers and sisters in Islam! A secure environment, a healthily nourished life, convenience to get sufficient food are some of the great resources that we have been blessed with by the grace of Allah, and we will understand their value only if we approach those who have lost them.

It was narrated from Salamah bin ‘Ubaidullah bin Mihsan Al-Ansari that his father said: The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: "Whoever among you wakes up in the morning secured in his dwelling, healthy in his body, having his food for the day, then it is as if the world has been gathered for him.

Therefore, we must understand and acknowledge the values of such glories and blessings of Allah and not engage in any activities to disrupt or cause turmoil to them, but to praise and be thankful to Allah for them and it is our responsibility and duty to spend them in a way that is beneficial to us, our family and our country.

“And [remember] when your Lord proclaimed, 'If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor]; but if you deny, indeed, My punishment is severe.” [HQ: 14:7]

Oh Allah! We ask you to bless us to be thankful to you for the blessings that you have bestowed on us, our parents, our children, our family, and to be obedient to you in a manner that pleases you! And by your grace include us in the company of the rightly guided servants of yours!
